We are very encouraged and grateful to the Lord that numbers in Arizona are steadily going down. Unfortunately, COVID seems like it will be around for a while. With this in mind, we hope to be as cautious as possible at our venue, El Conquistador ballroom, by wearing masks when social distancing cannot be maintained, keeping rows of chairs 8 ft apart, and by separating families by three chairs. We will also have sanitizing tables set up in the lobby with masks for anyone who would like one. During this time, we want to avoid handshakes and hugs. Of course, please follow guidelines for staying at home when you have fevers or other sicknesses in your house.
At this time our services are recorded and uploaded at approximately 11:00 am. For those who prefer to watch from home or have compromised immune systems, we completely understand and encourage you to continue with that. We are committed to the Lord’s command that we continue to meet together (in creative ways) to encourage one another in every way we can until He returns to take us home.
This month we will be reopening our HopeKids classes. Our volunteers will be wearing masks. We will also all wash our hands before entering and exiting the classroom. Masks are optional for the kids. All parents will be asked to screen their kids before checking them in to confirm they are not showing any symptoms of illness. If you are not sure if your child is showing symptoms, please err on the side of caution and keep them at home.
God is at work during these hard times and let us keep our eyes open as to how we can join Him. It is a joy to serve Jesus with all of you.
