Wondering what to expect on your first visit to Hope? We hope the following helps you. We look forward to welcoming you and getting to know you!
Directions
Parking
Just before you get to the front door of the resort please turn right into the south parking lot.
Children
We take seriously our responsibility for and commitment to the children that are entrusted to the volunteer staff of our HOPEKIDS program. Each staff person is screened and trained to provide a positive experience for your child. Nursery through 3rd grade children are cared for during the entire service. 4th and 5th grades stay with their parents during the first part of the worship service and are then excused to be a part of an appropriate age class. Don’t forget to pick up your children immediately following the service.
Middle or High School Students
If you have middle school or high school students, they are welcome to attend any of our services with you. Middle school students have the option of attending our middle school Sunday School class located in the loft of the lobby after the worship portion of service. We do not provide a separate Sunday morning program for our high school, but we do have a Sunday evening program for both middle schoolers and high schoolers called HOPEYOUTH. Our Youth ministry is led by Pastor Kevin Mason (youth@hopetucson.com).
Meet the Pastor
Following the service, please take a moment and meet Pastor Randy Brainard on the patio. Pastor Randy would love to greet you.
Next Steps
There are many opportunities to get involved at Hope. Information appears in the Sunday bulletin and on this website. The two most immediate are:
- NEW TO HOPE LUNCH. Three to four times during the year Pastor Randy, Staff and the Elders of Hope Community host a complementary lunch where all newcomers are invited to come, meet the Staff and hear about Hope Community Church. See the “EVENTS” section of this website for our next lunch
- HOME GROUPS. Our church family is built on relationships that occur through our Home-Groups. This is the best and quickest place to connect with other adults and families. It is our hope that every individual or family get connected in a Home-Group. If you have been coming for a few weeks and would like to get plugged in, email Gina at info@hopetucson.com or stop by our HopeCentral tables in the lobby.
