Women's Camp 2022
Our Women's Camp is Saturday and Sunday, August 27 & 28 at the Westward Look Resort.
Our theme is "Humility". (Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility consider one another as more important than yourselves... Philippians 2:3)
The guestrooms are beautifully decorated. They have 2 full size beds and a pull out couch.
The rates this year are as follows:
Overnight
1 to a Room - $242.00
2 to a Room - $191.00
3 to a Room - $174.00
4 to a Room - $165.00
Day Rates
Attending Saturday & Sunday (No Overnight) - $130.00
Attending Saturday Only - $80.00
Attending Sunday Only - $80.00
If you are interested in staying Friday night, there will be a special rate for Hope Women. Please contact Gina at info@hopetucson.com if you would like to take advantage of this.
These rates include all camp “perks” and meals (lunch and dinner on Saturday/breakfast and lunch on Sunday).
The DEADLINE TO REGISTER is Friday, August 12. There will be NO registrations accepted after this date. The resort requires a firm number prior to our stay, so please register by August 12.

Ambassadors Church Update
We are all Christ’s ambassadors! Whether you gather in Wilson school or Painted Sky on Sunday mornings, you are an ambassador for Christ. We have been reconciled to God and He is using us to help others be reconciled to Him!
Ambassadors Church is off to a great start. We are so thankful for the partnership with Hope. God has really used Hope to bless us through finances, prayers and encouragement. We are all on the same team, “Team Jesus” and we all want to see disciples making disciples.
We are aiming for September 11 as our first public worship service, so you can be praying for that. We have an amazing launch team that has been fully invested and we are working to improve our processes so we are ready to welcome visitors, point people to Jesus and get folks plugged into meaningful community.
We have four 242 Groups (Home Groups based on Acts 2:42) up and running already and they have been so great! One of them is already moving toward multiplying.
Emma Luckow has stepped up to be our Children’s Ministry leader and she is doing a fantastic job! We are so blessed to have gifted leaders like Emma who love Jesus and love people well who are serving the Lord.
We have a great group of youth at Ambassadors. They are still plugged in with Hope’s Youth Group, which is such a blessing. Ambassadors Church recently started having a monthly Youth fellowship, led by Brett Adler, that has been super sweet.
So, we are excited and thankful. Please keep praying. Jesus is building His church as we speak and we are all an important part of that. Thanks for your love and support!

Hello, Hope!
I’m excited to share that we have some volunteer opportunities available in our Sunday classes and at AWANA on Wednesday nights. On Sundays, we have need of 4 teachers who can lead the 4th-5th and/or K-1st classes at least once a month. At AWANA, we are looking for people to serve with all age groups from 4-years old to 6th grade. If you have kids in these programs, this is a fantastic way to be in touch with what your children are learning. If you don’t have kids in the programs but are seeking a way to be involved, your leadership blesses both our families and our volunteers… and you yourself! If you have been attending Hope for more than 6 months and would like to get involved in either of these ministries, I would love to connect with you.
Children going into kindergarten will be promoted on Sunday, August 7th! Please plan to bring them to the Family Sunday service with you on that day.
Women’s Camp is August 27-28, and to make it accessible to all our incredible female volunteers, we will not have any classrooms open on the 28th.
As always, please reach out if you have any questions, comments, or desire to be involved in our amazing kids’ ministry. It is a blessing to build up the body of Christ with you!

Home Groups are the backbone of our Church. Our goal is to create places where people are being challenged, encouraged, and built up to be more like Christ. Our prayer is that this would lead to fruitful living in expanding the Kingdom, serving the community, etc.

On August 12th we will host our first ever Sensory Friendly Worship event (in the Community Room): Make A Joyful Noise!
You might be asking, “who is this event for?” This event is for anyone who wants to experience a relaxed and engaging evening of worship! The evening is designed to create a welcoming space for individuals and families who experience disability, including sensory needs (with or without any official diagnosis). With ear defenders to help dampen sound, scarves to facilitate worshipful movement, and fidgets for those who need a little something extra to help them focus or calm anxiety, we are providing multiple resources for a successful evening.
ASL interpretation is also available.
Share this event with anyone you know who might enjoy attending! This event is open to the entire community and we hope to welcome many who have felt unable to attend church for whatever reason.
