Places to Serve
Music
Vocals
A vocalist works alongside other team members to blend well as a vocal team. Typically, we expect vocalists to be able to sing both melody and harmony lines to encourage congregational participation.
Instrumentation
An instrumentalist helps support the worship team by using their musical skill in a team environment. Hope worship team is open for utilizing many different types of instruments including some that may not be on a typical worship set.
Tech
Soundboard
A soundboard operator manages the audio system during services, ensuring clear sound for music, sermons, and announcements. They adjust levels, monitor sound quality, and troubleshoot technical issues to support a seamless worship experience.
Video Production
ProPresenter
A camera operator captures live video of services, focusing on speakers and musicians to enhance the worship experience for online and in-person audiences. They operate cameras, adjust framing and angles, and collaborate with the ProPresenter team to ensure high-quality visuals.
A ProPresenter operator manages the display of lyrics, slides, announcements, and other visuals during services, ensuring seamless transitions and accurate content. They work closely with the Worship and Video Production team to support the congregation’s engagement and participation.
Pit Crew
The pit crew volunteers help on Sunday with setting up and tearing down equipment for Worship and HopeKids services which may include setting up chairs, projector screens, emptying and loading trailers, etc.
