Friendship

Friendship is a gift from God that helps us live out our calling to love Him and one another. True friendship is not about having many companions but about cultivating a few faithful relationships that stick closer than family (Proverbs 18:24). Such friends are willing to lovingly confront sin (Proverbs 27:6), offer wise encouragement that refreshes the soul (Proverbs 27:9), and help us persevere in faith by carrying us to Jesus when we are weak (Luke 5:18–19). Christian friendship is a treasure, a linking of arms to push each other closer to Christ, bringing joy, strength, and endurance in our walk with Him.
